It holds much more soot in suspension than conventional 15W-40 oils while still keeping its lubricity. You can expect to go much longer between changes, longer engine life, and no dry starts. It is also the perfect lubricant for hard-working hydrostatic transmissions. SAE 15W-40 Magnum is designed for use in pre 2007 trucks without diesel particulate filters, and is very effective in engines using high sulfur fuels.
