Lucas Non-Conductive Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil ISO 22 is a fantastic choice wherever non-conductive hydraulic fluid is required, with its high flash point. This oil is great for situations with high fire risk, such as cherry pickers and firetruck snorkels. This hydraulic oil is formulated with pure base oils and an additive chemistry that provides excellent oxidative and thermal stability. As a result of Lucas’s formula, this oil provides excellent wear protection and reduction of deposits and sludge. An effective foam inhibitor included in the mix ensures stability. Dielectric strength of 38 kV, 3 kV over the minimum of 35 kV, makes it an excellent non-conductive fluid. Due to dielectric strength’s extreme sensitivity to humidity and contamination, containers should be kept tightly sealed and stored in a dry environment. After a period of poor storage, the initial dielectric strength could be reduced.
